Sample validation

Inspect your e-bike sample

A sample is useful only when it answers named questions. The review should compare the received bicycle with the approved brief and record every change required before a commercial order.

01

Confirm product identity

Start with the approved model brief so that visual impressions do not replace configuration control.

  • Model and frame identification
  • Motor, battery and controller labels
  • Color, branding and accessories
  • Packing list and supplied documents
02

Inspect assembly and function

Record objective checks before the first ride and separate adjustment issues from component or design issues.

  • Fasteners, alignment and cable routing
  • Brakes, drivetrain, lights and display
  • Battery lock, charging and assistance
  • Folding, parking or cargo mechanisms
03

Validate the intended use

The ride test should reproduce the task the model is expected to perform in the target market.

  • Rider fit and handling
  • Load, storage or passenger setup
  • Braking, hill and surface behavior
  • Final issue list with owner and deadline

Practical takeaway

Approve the sample only when the configuration, observed issues and required corrections are written clearly enough to control the next build.
